Default help please; calling explorer and mustang drivers

i don't know where to put this, but seeing as how i'm an s197 owner, i thought it'd be best to say it in here.

i was recently involved in a car accident with a ford explorer. the guy just wants a rear taillight. the question i have is, where would be the best place to get one of these online? the dealer quoted me at 100 and i've seen them going for 46~.

thanks very much.

quick question on rockauto. they offer two different taillights. the glo-brite and the sherman. which one is the actual oem part and which one is an aftermarket?

this guy's car is all stock and he just wants a takeoff.

Go on ebay, you will get a great deal there on a tail light, damn, all that damage on your car and he just needs a tail light? Also check ebay for a mirror too, for your car, just make sure it says OEM in the auction, the damage in your fender looks like it can be taken care of with paintless dent removal, look into that before you change your fender. Good Luck.

If you've seen them going for $46, buy one from the place you saw them at

i bought it off rockauto. i just wanted to get some verification and some referrals from some members so i don't throw 46 out the window like with some companies (rpmoutlet)

i wanted to save money instead of shelling out 100 for a taillamp.

and if i had bought it from the place i saw it for 46 and it turned out to be a dud, i'd have to spend 46 + whatever the next one costs. but thanks for trying to help bud.
