Shout out to Other Mustang Drivers the Thumbs up?

RE: Shout out to Other Mustang Drivers the Thumbs up?
Most of the 05 owners wave that I can make eye contact with exception of one that thought just because he had 30 day tags and GT500 stickers on he would blow my doors off. Most fox body Mustangs owners could give a ripp about waving. The first generation Stang owners will wave.I thank it's mostly because the older crowd is buying the 05 because of the retro look and fell in love with the stang all over again.

Per your request mate....option has been added!

I look to see if they notice, then I'll wave. Unfortunately, most pre-05's don't care much, but I did see one kid with a 2002 GT that wanted a little race. Thumbs up, light turned green, I let him keep up til towards the end of 2nd gear.
There should be an option for: Shout out to anyone that looks

I don't have an '05 but I'm going to speak up anyway LOL.
I always give a little wave or nod to a person in another nice stang if it looks like they take pride in it.
Yesterday I went out for a nice cruise and came upon a guy in an '03 mach 1, I complimented his car and he complimented mine. We gave each other a thumbs up and drove off.
Later, I saw a guy in an absolutely PERFECT '84 GT. It was beautiful. I gave him a thumbs up and he looked at me like I had 2 heads.
My point is....it depends on the person not the car, in my humble opinion.

RE: Shout out to Other Mustang Drivers the Thumbs up?
I remember going through this with the Honda S2000 group back when they were rare. Back in 2000 and 2001, when they were still quite rare many owners waved and acknowledged each other. Then after Honda had sold a few tens of thousands of them it was just another car.
There are already more 2005 Mustangs on the road than six years worth of S2000's, so for most people, it's just another car. I'll probably acknowledge another 2005 Mustang if I pull up next to it, but they're just too common to make a big deal about it every time you see another one. The majority of the owners are not fanatics about the car.
