Default whats the largest tire you can put on the front of a 2005+ mustang without rubbage?

I have a new pair of 275/40/18 nitto tires, i bought them as spares for my rear, but i was wondering would i be able to run them on the front of my car, without and tire rubbing?

the tire you're listing is slightly too small compared to stock, but you can go all the way up to 285/45/18 in the front.

06lnr is running 285 30 20 on a 10" rim up front. Saleen uses 275 35 20 on a 9" front on their cars. I believe it should be ok. Only breaking factor will be your suspension setup and your offset up front.

The Roush cars run 275/40-18 tires on 18 x 10 wheels on all four corners.

it will only rub if your car came factory w/ 17" wheels, it is in another post about the steering stops. If not then you will be perfectly fine.

I have 9" Saleens on my front. 275/35/19 tire. Lowered on FRPP springs. No problems whatsoever.

Cant believe all the answers without knowing the offset of the said Steeda rims.

And yes, steering stops will help with the rubbage tremendously....

For vehicles with 17" wheels from the factory:
-installing 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 9.5" wheels, use steering stop 6R3Z-3932-CA
