Default 6 day old 2009 Mustang GT has a rattle, help!

Picked up a brand new 2009 Mustang GT this past Saturday, everything is great but I have a slight rattle when going over a bump in my passenger side door area.

I keep telling myself not to worry about it, but its hard to believe how much a slight rattle can irritate you. Its probably one piece of plastic slightly touching another..... Ahhhhh!

On another note, its so great to have a car that can get out of its own way. I came from a 2006 F150 4.6. I love this car!!! But this damn rattle keeps me up at night!

Any tips? Or should I just take it to a dealer and let them know about it?

Send it to the dealer, they'll help you out.

Yes on the dealer. Your first trip is always the most painful. But you'll get used to it. It may be a Stang but it's still a Ford.

My dash has a slight rattle when the temp is cold. Mine is an 09 too. I just turn the radio up. From what I've read, its common for little rattles.

Thanks everyone! Can I take it to any Ford Dealership? I bought the car from a dealership about two hours away.

The closest is Sam Pack Five Star Ford in Carrollton, TX.

you can take it to any dealership. good luck. I've learned to ignore rattles. Of course, with the exhaust and stereo on, that's not hard to do!
