C&L intake manifold
#21
I'm buying one of these AS SOON as the production model hits the streets. Some of the tuners are trying to pawn off their prototypes but C&L is recommending to wait on the final production. I haven't purchased delete plates for the sole purpose of using this manifold. I was going to do delete plates and portmatch the stock plastic manifold back when I installed the cams and first heard about the C&L. I've been waiting on it ever since.
With this manifold, my cams (or some blower cams, which I'm open to) and a basic vortech kit I figure I can run pretty low boost and have close to 500whp. I've been saving my pennies waiting for the production model of this intake before laying my final plans.

I had been saving for delete plates, but I think I'm just going to keep saving and get the C&L Intake. As far as I am concerned if you don't have the delete plates I think this is a great deal, it's more horsepower and looks way nicer under the hood than our plastic intake. But then again I don't have one of those covers lots of guys are running.
