can u switch the hood joints to the front?
hey guys,
i was curious if somehow it is possible to switch my hood joints from the rear and put struts in the front so the hood opens the opposite way like a viper, i just thought that not only would it be unique and cool, but i thought itd b alot more secure to if the main holdown points are in the front

Anything is possabe.
Is it easily doable, no.
But if you can dream it, you can make it a reality.
Take it to the local customizing shop and throw some $$ at them.
Get the lambo doors at the same time so they all swing the same
way when opened. Maybe they can switch around the doors to
make them suicide doors?
Seriously, get'er done and post pics....

I would have to check out the underside of a hood, but there has to be a place there stiff enough to bolt to. You also have to have something fabricated to hinge from, and the hinges might not operate optimally with the angles, position, etc.
You can certainly do it.....depends on your skills or how much money you have to pay for someone else's skills.
Also, keep in mind how hard it will be to work on your car that way. The stuff at the back will be easier to reach, but everything up front will be harder.

well i thought even if its not stong enough in the front for just an underside attachment i could have them drill all the way through and have the bolts look like hood pins or something to
