Accidentally took some finish off my GT500 chin spoiler
Hey guys,
I was modifying my GT500 chin spoiler to install it on my front bumper, and I accidentally scraped a little bit of the textured finish, which has a little bit of gloss to it.
It's right near the part where the spoiler mounts up against the bumper, so it's not a huge deal and not overly visible, but is there anything I can do to make the scrape a little less noticeable?
I was thinking of maybe putting some Mother's Back to Black on the scrape to darken it a bit and then hitting just the scraped spot with some clear coat to give it a little bit of a glossy look so it matches the rest of the spoiler a bit better.
Any ideas on how I can basically re-finish textured black plastic?

plastic scratches
use a little bit of acetone or paint thinner on a lint free cloth and rub in one direction. the chemical will actually soften, melt and smooth the plastic. acetone works best. the plastic will regain its shine. been using this method on cheap interior plastic scrathes for years.
