Default Help--need a plug and play rear bumper for GT

I was here a few weeks back about getting a new rear bumper for my son's '07 GT.

Went to "New take off parts" website and ordered one in black. Then I got an e-mail that says they're out and won't know when they'll get anymore. I couldn't be put on any kind of back-order so they cancelled the order.

Is there anywhere I can buy a color matched bumper that we can slap on his car without having to modify, paint, trim, etc

I'm just looking for a "plug and play"...pull the old scratched bumper and put a new one on.
Thanks for reading!

J.

They are nearly impossible to find. Think about it this way, they are in pretty good demand for v6 owners and people who wrecked their GT's who want to go the cheaper way and get a new take off which comes painted for cheaper than unpainted from Ford. New take-off parts come from Roush, Saleen, Foose, and companies like that. Since the 2010 Mustang just came out, Roush and all of those guys are probably not worried about putting out 2005-2009's as much as they are getting all of the new ones out there. If you can find someone who sells them other than new take off, then you might have a chance, but its unlikely.

I appreciate the feedback...I just hate to go the factory route and get gouged on the part, paint and install...They quited me something around $700 last time I checked.

Oh well...do I get him new tires for graduation or a new rear bumper?
Decisions...Decisions

Go aftermarket, much cheaper, and you can get stuff identical to stock.

GT/CS is the way to go. ~350 for unpainted bumper if you have the right part #
