Default Those of you with trunk organizers or custom trunk lid panels...

how does it secure to the under side of the trunk lid? I want to make a piece to cover the underside of the trunk for car shows etc to cover up the dynamat. I have 1/4 mdf board i am going to use but i'm unsure on how to secure it to the trunk lid.

I used these

and covered them up with carpet that I used to cover by woofer box, used the holes that are in the trunk lid allready. and put some heavy duty double sided tape on the raised ridges of the trunk lid

I used door panel fasteneres like these:

They go on the board before you upholster it so that you don't see any screw heads.

Go to auto zone or pep boys and buy the black trim push retainers. They have about a 3/4 inch head with a ribbed shank. cut some of the deck lid cloth and apply over the trim retainer head to keep it from showing in the front.
