quite a predicament again
well again I am looking for a car and have found several cars.
I have three cars i am looking at an 08 an 06 and 05
I have driven the 05 and 08 and they are almost the same except the 08 is automatic other than that the both are pretty close price wise 21000 and miles wise 4000
the 05 is very clean and still has the new car smell and is stick so i like that
the 08 is obviosly clean but is the drk red and auto which im not crazy about
the 06 i dont know much about other than its stick the color i like and it looks clean with 8000 miles
so what should i do i really have no clue.

The 06 is likely to have the waterleak as well as the 05.
The 05s are different from the rest of the herd.
Seems like the 06 is your choice and I dont see
anything to look for besides the waterleak and
associated damage. Pull the passengers side door sill
(it just pops off) and the kick panel. Pull the carpet
and pad back to check for signs of the water leak
problem.

The 05 was the first model year and has the TSB bugs.

I would personally avoid a 05. First production model year on the car. Unless you got like some SLAMMIN deal on a 05 and i mean for next to nothing, where you could afford to deal with TSBs, and fixing them and whatnot, then that may be viable.
But for the 05 being the same price as the 06, i would go with the 06 with less TSBs and kinks to worry about. I have a 08 and think that is the best year of mustang out so far.
It has like pretty much all TSBs/problems fixed. Have not had any problems out the car, and the motor is still the same. The 09 they upgraded the CMCV delete plates so i don't think there changeable on 09+. I would really recommend a 08 if you could find one in stick for around the same price. You would almost be guaranteed no TSBs to deal with, and there are tons of parts to mod with, and no changes were done engine wise till 09.

UPDATE
Well I went and looked at the 06 and it was alright I guess it was a test car for ford so I would technically be the first owner because the car was never sold. It doesnt really have everything like the miles to empty thing or the three buttons that come with that option but it looks pretty clean.
The 05 is pretty much new and has everything but it is almost a year older than the 06 but has less than half the miles so my wuestion is should I go 06 because it is newer but doesnt have the mpg option thing with the buttons or that shiny dash
or
should i go 05 which is loaded but might have TSB issues and is technically older than the 06 when they are basically in new condition
