Do you guys have an offroad X or H with your boomtubes. I was thinking about getting some boomtubes but didnt know if it would be too loud as i have an offroad X. Im not against going real loud but is it gonna be too loud.

with any o/r midpipe it is loud as ****. i have an o/r h with mine, and i had to weld in a pair of resonators to take the edge off. sounds awesome now!

i have also heard that boomtubes, mixed with an o/r X, are VERY raspy.

A friend of mine has boomtubes on his car with an otherwise stock exhaust set up and they are fairly loud as is. I would say they would be a little too loud with a O/R pipe to DD but its all opinion and personal taste. Might get kinda raspy as well.

I was almost thinking of buying Flowmaster 40 series and mount them where they should be mounted. (forward of the rear axel) I know somebody on this forum has done that. I will have to see how much a muffler shop would charge me.

I have boomtubes but I don't have an o/r X or H pipe; instead I have a prochamber. The sound is loud and deep. It used to be somewhat raspy at high rpm but I added resonators to cure that.
