you think this setup will allow me to fit 335mm wide tireS?
I've been putting alot of thought into what I want to do this summer and I want to do it right.. the FIRST time.
Im going to get a set of 20" black chrome fr500's (rear rims are 20" X 10" of set is 45mm)
I want to put 1 inch wheel spacers on.
And put 335/35/20 tires on the rear.
First off, will I have a problem fitting these wheels on that rim?
Second, if they fit that wheel, will it fit on my car if I add 1 inch wheel spacers on the rears?
Lastly, I seen a GT500 do it with some work but he was running on 18"s and the setup was a little bit different. You guys think it's do-able?

Now my freind who has a GT500 is running 11x18's with 335x35 18's and it fits fine but it sticks out just a tad passed his wheel wells. I'm not to sure how or if the 335x35 tire will fit on a 10" rim. You mite want to go down to a 315x35

45 with 335's might work, barely. A good machine shop specializing in wheels can shave off 2-3mm of the back giving it a 47-48 offset. Get the 1" spacer totally out of your mind, as I am trying to tell you that a feww mm's of extra clearance might be necessary. You probably dont want to lower it either especially at first. I would stop at 315 if I was you, but its always fun to be daring.

i like to be different and daring if you will.. lol
1" is prolly a bit much haha but i do want to give it the wide almost offroad look a bit (low and wide stance) and I do plan on lowering it but its not yet because im going to wait untill after my wheel setup is done.. i really owuld like 335s tho
im a little confused at what the wheel place could do.. you said they can shave off a few mm's giving it a 47-48 offset?

you might want to look into rolling the fenders as well. This may give you a little bit more room especially if you plan on lowering. Google Western Motorsports "Vanquished Mustang." It is running 19x12 or 19x13 inch wheels in the back. It is tubbed and the fenders are rolled but those guys may be able to give you some insight into what is involved. Either way it is going to look bada$$$

There isnt anything to roll on our fenders though. Youll want to tuck the wheels in a bit on the 45 mm offset and you probably want to go with the 315. 335 will look better on an 11". Here is a teaser.

HAH!! teasin me with the 345's are ya? maybe i'll slap those on there some how then huh!?!?!?!? lol
well, now im thinking about sending the wheels to that wheel place to have them widened to 11"s.. or maybe 12"s =) haha
