Mustang Bullitt vs. 05 GT?
Lately I have been considering saving some money and canceling my 05 order and getting a 01 Mustang Bullitt. Has anyone driven a Bullitt? How do they perform ( acceleration and handling) compared to the 05 GT. Which has more legroom? I am 6'4" and that is a big concern with me. Let me know. Thanks!

I drove a 2003 Cobra before buying my 2005 and I just could not fit comfortably in the Cobra. I am 6'4" and I fit just fine in the 2005 from a leg and headroom perspective. My only complaint is my right knee rests on the console and can be a little uncomfortable on a long drive.

I just could not fit in the 2003 Cobra as bad as I wanted it. The guy had built it out and it was a rocket ship. It was a red vert with a black top and looked great. Just too darn small for my frame.

I ran alongside a Bullitt this morning to the Mustang show and it sounded very impressive! What's the price? For under $22k you might be better off with the 01. And if it's off warranty you can do lots of ad ons!

As my earlier experience tells me, it doesn't really matter how good it looks and sounds if you can't fold your long legs in to drive it. I wanted this 2003 Cobra really bad. I guess if you were buying it as a show car you might be able to make it work but not as a every day driver.

true...the bullitt only had an extra 5HP but does sound good. also, they only made that car for one year so it will be a collectors item. on the other hand, ford overdid themselves with the 05 so i think that this car will be one to own in time also. FYI, the 05 is much quicker than the bullitt
