BRAKES.........NEED SOME HELP.
I have a 2005 GT and have developed a loud squeek when you press the brake pedal.I have sprayed some wd40 at the point of contact but it did not help. The other thing is that it does not start sqeeking until you have driven the car for about an hour and it will not stop unless you let the car sit for several hours. The noise sounds like it is an interior noise and not a caliper or pad issue.

I suggest you go to your local auto parts store and check out the lubricants they have for dealing with squeaking brakes. I wouldn't use WD-40. It's not designed for use where the temperature can get hot.

Does it do it while you are in neutral when it goes into squeak mode? If so, I would crawl around on the floor to try to pinpoint the source of the squeak. You may need a tube or a mechanic's stethoscope to determine the exact point of the squeak. If the WD-40 doesn't work, you could try dry graphite lube.

sorry bro, ur gunna have a tough time gettin that fixed prob, ive had a sqeak comin from one of my tires for over 6 months, ive tooken it to the shop 5 times, everytime they say they fix it, then i drive 20 feet and i hear it... they initially blamed the brake pads, so i got new brakes about a month or more ago, it still sqeaks and they still say its the brake pads... idk what the hell to do for this... but mines a constant sqeak, mine does it when im just driving normally whether i apply brakes are not, but when i do apply the brakes its louder and faster it sounds like

I just wanted to answer some of the questions. If you press the pedal down when you are in nutrual and not moving it still makes the squeek inside the car also I have crawled under the dash and the noise does seem to come from one of the connections but I CANT STOP THE SQEEK WITH LUBE.Thanks.
