Default 2010 optional 19" Factory Wheels

Is anyone running the factory 19" wheels on 05-09 mustang? I'm wondering if these are lighter than the Gt500 rims or not.

Tried the search, didn't find much,

thanks

if they are lighter, they probably wouldn't be by much.

on a side note, are the '10+ wheels even for sale in the parts dept yet?

there are several listings on ebaymotors right now for the 19's and I saw a set of the updated bullit style that come as the standard wheels on the 2010 gt's

They look great, but they probably won't be light.

A relatively light 19 inch, cast wheel weighs around 25 lbs at the least. It's not uncommon for a 19 inch cast wheel to weigh 28 lbs. Forged 19 inch wheels are around 20 to 22 lbs a piece and they cost $800 to $1100 each. No way Ford installed a wheel like that on a factory car. If you're looking for a good compromise between weight and looks, then a light weight 18 inch wheel is probably the way to go.

Problems with 19", tires aren't cheap in that size.

This was my concern before, but I figured if they are coming equipped with wheels this size now tire choices would increase.

My problem is one I'm sure a ton of us have gone through trying to decide between 18" and 20". I know I definitely want to go staggered, I just can't decide on rim size.

Keep em coming though, all good info
