Default C&L Manifold Done Yet

Anybody have any idea when we can purchase the C&L Intake manifold?

Does Brenspeed have any plans to sell the manifold because i would want to buy it from them because that is where i have my tune from.

Bamachips has it it looks like http://www.bamachips.com/store/index...c37539bced356c

Not sure it's worth the price tag though.

I've heard terrible things about it. I believe someone said they lost HP after installing the manifold.

Spend the grunch of money you would on that, on something else. Mabye those MAC LT's in your sig?

I have a friend who put this manifold on a while ago. He's all NA, with comp nsr stage II cams, full exhaust (LT's, o/r midpipe), almost full bolt-ons on stock block and heads. Dynoed a ~2 hp increase...

According to him, it's a mega bust. C&L has promised him a free replacement with the "second engineering" of this manifold.

Don't you think Ford would have used a different manifold if they could gain 50rwhp from it? I wouldn't expect more than 10rwhp out of any manifold for this motor.

I had high hopes for this manifold, too, but I've also read some bad things about it on other Mustang boards. It's not worth the money, even if it does what they say it does. I think the magazine test I saw said 17 hp, but it was all gained really high up there in the RPM range. Above 5,500 rpm, I think.

Based on your sig, I'd probably get some gears or start saving for your power adder. Exhaust should probably be the last mod for these cars.
