I have had problems twice, but only when the tank was near empty. When at 1/4 full or above the tank fill fine.

I have a January car and have the problem - but I'm not letting a tech tear into until I know the problem is 100 % fixed. Hell at this rate it sounds like I may live with it or at least wait until the last year of the warranty.

I have only filled up 3 times now. First two times I could only get 12 gallons in and I gave up. Not too disappointed in that as I barely drive 100 miles a month. But this past Saturday I was able to fill up on the first latch setting and got 15 gallons in. So its a slight, random problem that I am happy to live with. Plus, as little as I visit the gas station it gives me a chance to spend 5-10 minutes looking at my car [8D]

i use the 89 octane because it is 10 cents a gallon cheaper than the 87; guess that is because it has the 10 percent ethanol; this is not supposed to do any damage; has not on my other 2 cars and have used it for the last 7 years.

I have a V6. I had the fuel tank problem and they replaced the tank. I had only had the problem at one gas station. However, after the replacement, I put in a half-tank there again and no problem at all.

ethanol burns leaner than regular gas. not a good thing. running too lean can cause damage internally to engine.
