clutch related noise...is this normal?
Let me start by saying that I know how to drive stick. My previous/other car has 183k miles on the original clutch with plenty of life left in it.
So my 2009 Mustang has about 1,100 miles on it now...and since it was brand new, it has made a soft rattle/squak noise when releasing the clutch pedal. It doesn't seem to happen every time, mostly when taking off and turning (like at an intersection) or gently going over the cursed speed bumps in my neighborhood.
I have heard this once before...in a 1997 Mustang GT that my father had a while back....so I don't think its unique...but is it a problem? Is it normal?
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

So long as its not a symptom of a bad bearing or something else serious, I can live with it.

I actually had a bad bearing, the slave cylinder (throw out bearing) is hydraulic - believe me, in my case you will know when it is bad. Very hard to shift in and out of gear. When I had to get mine replaced I changed to a slightly more aggressive clutch and aluminum flywheel. The aluminum flywheel reverberates noise more than the steel one, so you hear more trans noise. I guess that’s the trade off if you want lighter rotating assembly.
