How much is my car worth?? should I sell?
#12
Well right now, it sounds like your car is worth $23k.
My rationale: Your car is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay you for it.
I love when people put $10k of aftermarket stuff on a car and automatically assume their car is worth $10k more than the KBB value. (Not bashing you, just making a general statement).
Seriously though, his offer isn't awful...obviously you aren't going to recoup the entire retail value of the CS package or the supercharger. But I say just keep your car unless you have a massive itch to get rid of it.

You should keep the car. Just to give you an idea, I stopped by a ford dealership a few weeks ago and saw a 2008 candy apple red GT/CS, not vert, with really low miles. Asking price on it was a bit over $31,000 if im not mistaken. It was all stock too... so that gives you an idea. whatever you end up doing, good luck!

I would say if you were in the market to sell it, $23,000. isn't bad, but since your not really in the market to sell it and I am assuming you just put new tires and an alignment into it $23,000 is a good price for a buyer, if I were you, Id ask $25,000, atleast it's a few dollars more than a decent offer. But on the other hand, how much more will it cost you to replace it? I was just pondering the same thing with my car, but I decided to stick with mine because of the mileage. Good luck with your descision.

Meaning: they don't represent the market value.
They won't get $31K for that car though...
The asking price and the deal price are 2 different things.

The used car dealer says, "Yeah, what Pascal said! I love me a good ole' fashioned assraping. Hey Mardav I'll trade you this blue piece of American perfection behind me for your GT/CS!"
