Default Anyone ever trade in their stang?

I've been debating whether i should trade in my six shooter for a v8 or fix up the six. I've been more than happy with my girl, she's a perfect car. I just want a little 'more', ya know. I''d like to know that when i pull up to subaru's i'd stand a chance. If you can't tell, i've been raped by them on more than one occation (i don't try to race, they always start sht). Has anyone ever traded in their 6 for a 8? What kind of payment are you making? Thanks for all the info!

my car:
2008 V6 13k miles on it. I put 7 thousand down and paying 395 a month (got it for $17500).

Bring plenty of lube with you and be prepared to bend over, cause the dealer will rape you on the value of your trade in.

Yup, new cars aren't worth anything right so your used trade it will be even worse.

Yeah, i've been doing some research. Looks like i'll be keeping my six. My wife talked me out of it and wants me to fix up the six shooter. My b-day is a couple days away and she's hinted at buying an intake and tuner in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the input.

FI is a great and affordable option for your v6 .The intake and tune are good for now. The intake will become useless, but the tuner will still be good to go when you get FI.

always private sell a car...always. You will get WAY more.

You made the right move keeping the car. You'd break even or even a little low still owing $17K on the car and you'd loose that $7K you put down. Keep it for a couple of years at least, or better yet, pay it off sooner and enjoy not having to make any car payments
