Thanks guys. I may wait on a head unit i may not. But since i just ordered sound deadener i wont be putting the sub in till atleast that is done but ill probably run the basic wiring if i ever have the carpet pulled for deadening and now i know what to run for future plans.

Also nice to know about the auto on feature. I have a nice pold audio sub in my room that has the same feature and it works great so im sure kickers setup should do good too.
