Default Lowered GT/CS Owners

Anyone CS owners here have their cars lowered?

I’ve got a line on the FRPP Handling pack which lowers the car 1.5 inches. Since I have the GT/CS the front end is already a bit lower than the stock GT front end and I just wanted to see if any GT/CS owners out there have dropped their cars this much and if so, how much is the ground clearance compromised? Are you scraping the front end a lot? I have 3 speed bumps everyday getting into and out of my parking garage at work and want to be able to make sure I can clear them!

Any input would be much appreciated!

I have the Roush Stage 1 springs on the front and back, drop was about an inch. I do have a problem with curbs every now and then but nothing really bad.

Thanks for the feedback. If you're scraping at 1 inch lowered that makes me a bit concerned with dropping an additional 1/2 inch on top of that...

BTW, are you the guy who drove down from DFW with my buddy (terrydactyl) in the blue turbo GT for the Austin cruise? If so, he had a lady tbone him in an intersection a few weeks after that cruise. The car was totalled... he's now in the process of putting that turbo'd motor into a Factory Five Cobra replica. :-) Should be one of the fastest Factory Fives in the USA.

yes that was me, sorry to here about terrydactyl, hope he is ok. I have no problems over speed bumps it is mostly when I park, crurbs etc., once or twice rubbed coming down on steep parking lot exit but it really hasnt been that bad. What size tires are you running I have 255/45/18's.

Perhaps he was just referring to the GT/CS chin spoiler.

I took him to mean that the front spoiler is lower, not the suspension.

I have the frpp handling pack, and a lower spoiler lip, and don't have any problems. Since the Shelby GT has the same set up I doubt that you'll encounter any either.

I have Steeda Ultralights, 1" in the front, a little more in the rear, no ground clearance problems, the roads are REALLY bad here, and the car does fine, rides about rougher with the low pro tires and springs but its worth it for the handling. I tried to attach a pic but the host site isnt working.
