you know how trucks have the flip up middle seat, i was curious if you could get the center console armrest to flip up like that, but basically have that glovebox area removed for a cusion, i dont mean like take out the other two and have a complete bench seat

Not possible, I've done a lot of work doing a conversion to my center console and you'd need to entirely remove the shifter. That's the main problem as it's the tallest part once you remove the console.

I doubt it would work with the transmission tunnel, plus youd have to butcher the console...not to mention, how would you be able to shift gears?

well, i know it would be more difficult to shift, but itd b like a manual truck, the center person would just have to put there legs over to the passenger side, but ya, the transmission tunnel is what i thought would have been the hardest part, basically i thought u could just chop the center console after the E-Brake, and then take glove box out and put a small flip seat there, but i wasnt sure if it would work... as i looked through a mustang mag i saw there is a place in anaheim that does custom interior work, maybe il call them up later, but i was just curious what ur guys thoughts were
