Rear exhaust hangers $61.XX !
The GT I recently bought had one modification, different axle back mufflers. As part of the sale I had the dealership give me some takeoffs from an 09 GT, the stock axleback mufflers. The ones currently on the car are a "Prosound" brand muffer and they drone like no other on the freeway. To the point, the aftermarket mufflers currently on the car had an entirely different bolt on bracket which removed the OEM bracket nearest the end of the car. In short, I can only get the OEM mufflers to fit to the longer exhaust brackets and don't have the necessary rear most exhaust brackets to mount the exhaust.
I stopped by Ford today and was quoted $61.XX for EACH bracket. I've already skimmed a few Ford parts websites and cannot locate these two brackets. Where can I find them?

Given that I have a 2008 I assume this notation is irrelevant?
* Required for mid-2007+ Axle-Back & Cat-Back Installation*
*Sometime during the mid-production run on 2007 Mustangs, Ford realized that they were loosing money on the intricate metal/rubber exhaust hanger they designed for the 2005+ Mustangs. Thus they switched over to a cheaper rubber only hanger system to attach the factory exhaust. Unfortunately, this system will ONLY work with factory exhaust and will not allow for installation of aftermarket exhaust. Switching to the 2005 to mid-2007 style hangers solves this problem and will allow for installation of any 2005+ Exhaust System on late production 2007+.

The exhaust hanger prices are a real jobbing...but I definitely needed a set when I got my LoudMouths...They work as advertised, but it's just that the demand is so high for such a specialized part that people (like me) are willing to pay $55+ for a pair.

I just want to go back to stock and I assume the Pypes ones fit like stock. I can't take the droning from these cheap mufflers anymore. Has anyone even heard of "Prosound" mufflers? I've been looking all over google to find out about them. I think it's literally a muffler in appearance only. When I took them off the car, they were incredibly light and didn't seem to have much, if any baffling inside them. It's like a straight pipe. They have the stock tips though. I can't even enjoy the car (run through the gears) because it draws too much attention. I fired the car up with the mufflers off the car and it wasn't much louder.
