I can now see why those that HATE 20"s do.

that lip is not really a structural sealing feature of the wheel, it holds the bead in place and allows wheel weights to be hammered on.

I hate 20's because they look to big and slow down the car. They also ride like shiot compared to a 17 or 18 inch rim with a normal sized tire.
Of course when a new camaro pulls up next to you and smokes you, you can always blame it on the 20's.
I think what I hate the most is 20's on a completely stock mustang. They don't look half bad with the right body kit.

Actually the back tires are the drag tires and oversized a bit for street. The hentleman claims he does not rub but its a bit meaty for me. I would step it down one size but it looks a hell of a lot better than the silver car set up. BTW, the little thing I picked up in the pic is not the GT/TC which I am assuming is for TASCA edition, but is the rear tires. The rotation is backwards. Told you I was ****

I've never driven a car with 20" rims yet, but seen several. I just went up to 18"x9.5 and I couldn't be happier. The main thing that persuaded me was rear tire size. I can fit 285/40ZR18's on back no problem and they are completely flush with the fenders, I think it looks good and rides a lot better. I know I could have easily lived with 20" rims in Orlando we've got pretty smooth roads, but if I couldn't go wider I didn't see the point. I perfer performance over looks, but that is MY OPINION. From a looks standpoint I think 20's look better.

I agree. 20s look fine in certain applications. If you have a nice body kit it looks great but it looks a bit out of place on a stock mustang. Just my opinion of course. Not trying to offend anyone. Most of the cars with 20s that I see on this forum look great.
