I've been wanting to get a bullitt **** too, but I cant justify the price tag. The first s197 I drove was a Bullitt, and I loved the way the shifter felt in it. Now that I have my 05, I really miss the feeling of the ball. The factory shifter feels so girly to me. My Camaro has the round ball and it just feels so much more muscular. I didnt realize how much I missed the ball until I drove a manual Saturn Ion and thought that the shifter felt a lot tougher, lol. So to sum up, its the ***** that make it manly.

In my search for a reasonably priced Bullitt ****, I came across these. I dont know anything about them, but they look pretty good to me.

Mr Q. That looks a lot like the UPR ****. It's $34.99 from UPR and $49.95 from northamerican tuning.
UPR people are great to deal with.

My shifter boot from Redline Goods was delivered today and I am very happy with it. I chose to order it perforated so it would tie into the middle of the seats and doors. This is a good alternative if you need to get a boot to fit the **** after you get your hands on one and don't want to spend $100+.

Is that bezel a stick on piece or did that actually come with a new boot? Is it the Scott drake piece?

Yeap, it's the Scott Drake one. It just sticks on top of the shifter boot.

degeze, looks really good!!!!
Just a tip since you live in Georgia. I drive an 09 Bullitt and live in Florida. Find something to cover the **** when you have the car parked in the summer Georgia heat.
I've got the shift pattern burned in my hand. I now have a sunglass bag that I put over the **** when parked in the sign. The damn thing gets really hot.
