Default Planning on "un-lowering".....thoughts? need to know?

i lowered my car about a year ago (tein h-tech).............liked some things about it; didn't like some other things. the shifting got real clunky, especially over time, which to my understanding is due to my improper pinion angle. in addition, its super clunky, bumpy, etc on bumpy-ish roads (i think just normal from lowering it), which has caused more rattles to make themselves apparent.

in addition, the look of the car with stock ride height was a little better with my mods and stock wheels, it just had more of a musclecar look than a tuner look before. plus, now its not oem, so the handling is better in some cases, but generally "skittish" in midcorner bumps.

also, i've bottomed out twice, one of them a major epic bottoming out, which i'll die before i repeat.

so, i've made the decision to "unlower" the car (put stock springs back on). anything i should know? will it return to oem quality? will i need an alignment? should i get new upper strut mounts?

tell me all i need to know. i'll have a shop do the swap. thanks.

Beside an alignment, I don't see what else you would need...
As far as bottoming out... you must be really low.
If not, something's wrong.

Put the stock springs up front
Get Roush springs for the rear

front and rear alignment? mehhhh lol

you think i should get new front upper strut mounts? don't they disintegrate if you even take them apart or install new springs ONCE?

also.........yea i bottomed out in the most epic manner. there was a speedbump installed on a 35 mph road that was just huge........i braked before it but the car just slammed down on it, awful awful experience. they actually took out that speedbump a few weeks later.........

No, front alignment only.
Your mounts should be OK but new ones will help the springs being better seated.

Well, the rear axle is off about a 1/4" on these cars from the factory, so...

When your lower the front, it affects the caster/camber mostly, so you have to redo that.
On the back, with a solid axle, that point is moot.

Im running FRPP 1.5" lowering springs and had to take off the backs because of my side exhaust. I put the rears back to stock, and got a bigger tire to fill the wheel well. Check the sig.
