I'd like to know the same thing. The S197 sets the rev limiter at 6,250 rpm. Then the Bullitt bumped it up to 6,400 rpm. Now, I read Ford has increased the rev limiter to 6,500 rpm for 2010. My Bamachips tune originally had a 6,800 rpm rev limiter.

I have no idea which one I should choose. I'm guessing at least 6,500 rpm must be safe, since that's what Ford is doing on the 2010.

As good as it sounds, I would be afraid to rev that high.

My limiter is set for 6800. It gets there before I know it and bumps it still pulling extremely hard. When the cams were installed they ran it out to a 7k chart. On the stock cams the powerband would flop over at ~6200 rpm so I never worried with setting the limiter higher than that. I'm very interested in any new manifold . The C&L has been a disappointment.

i would call it cheap compared to the C&L piece, but still pricey compared to gears or cams that will get you a better gain. i would personally rather have gears - done - or cams first. but after cams, that would defenatly be worth it.

If you are getting cams then the 700 is well worth it because i am sure the gains will be there. I would be willing to bet additional 20 HP from this with a good cam setup. People will be able to reach 400 hp alot easier with heads and cams and a new manifold.
