Default Driver's & passenger's window smears

Is it just my car, do you guys clean your windows up and then
roll it down to find that it just smears the heck out of it?
I'm not talking about just when you wash your car and you get
water on it from rolling it down. I'm talking about ALL the time.
I could windex my windows every day and they smear right back up.
It is like there is some kind of grease in the door. I'm going to take the
door off to see what the heck is going on, but I thought I would post
to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Me either...

and I am a clean window NUT.. so I would notice.

I did notice there is some wierd coating on the outside of my side windows that causes the windex to film wierd, but not noticable after it dries.

Are you talking about the inside or the outside of the glass? I haven't noticed any problems.

you might have had something get on the window, maybe during rain or when being washed, and it got down inside the door?
Of course I'm getting all kinds of smears on the ousides of my windows but it's just from people cupping their hands against the glass to see inside this rare GT!

The strange thing is that it is identical on both the driver and passenger windows.
I have something down there, but it has been that way since I got it from the dealer.

Not on mine either, and like PW I am fanatical about keeping my windows and windshield clean. What you describe would drive me nuts!

I have the same exact problem, but I have a feeling I was careless with some wax or something else and it got along the rubber edge of the window. I just purchased some product called WaxBlaster and used it to remove some wax I got along some of the black trim, so I may clean the edge that touches the window as well. I do clean my windows almost every day though, but I think its my fault anyway from being careless when waxing.
