Okay, so if I wanted to actually convert my auto to manual for that "fun" experience down the road, how would I come about that? I mean, it's come to my attention that for the 05-10's you can find an aftermarket part for just about every aspect of the car.

I think that is quite the swap. As far as the computer and transmission, but if you were to do that you may be interested in a six speed.

Converting from auto to manual is expensive and a major headache. It also requires software changes. Not worth doing, IMO. Better to just buy a car with a manual tranny.

Admittedly, getting the transmission is the easy part...it's everything after that's really tough.
