I'm in the same boat as you, actually I already have the frpp springs just haven't installed them yet.

I'm actually running 20" Saleen Extreme Wheels w/ my stock suspension and want to get an upgrade.

I'm worried about scraping my front bumper when backing out of my driveway, afraid the frpp springs might lower my car too much.

Now I'm thinking about doing the full S281 suspension, but that will definitely cost for install.

I have the Saleen kit in my garage, will be installing it on Sunday. I'll post up a quick review once I get it done and take it for a spin.

Just an FYI, while Stage 3 was great to deal with the kit actually ships from Saleen and they do a terrible job packing it. My sway bar came all scratched up. Nothing is damaged, just cosmetic scrapes... still ticked me off though.

No problem... I'm excited too. :-)

In the meantime, here is a recent thread about the kit...

https://mustangforums.com/forum/s197...nsion-kit.html

And from everything I've read, it lowers the car about 1.25 inches... I've already taken 'before' measurements on my car and will remeasure them once the kit is installed.

definatly keep us informed to the both of you! That saleen kit looks pretty dam good for that price tag. Sure some other ones come with a little more (for double the price) but I think that kit looks to be giving what you need for a no BS price. Let us know how it works!

It would **** me off too......

Deek not sure if you looked into this but the FRPP suspension is real nice. I drove in a stang that has the whole kit and it was a night and day difference from stock for sure. I guess the others are too but just thought I would mention it. Not sure how much it lowers the car either- think 1.5 inches

well between the two of them, unless you think one is gonna performe DRASTICALY better then the other (I doubt) I would snag that Saleen kit for less then half the price, pick up a rear sway arm for like 200, and walk away with a real nice kit and like $650 in your pocket.

Actualy with that other $650 you were planning on spending anyway, get youself some adjustable lower control arms, adjustable upper, and a panhard and have your suspension complete.

All = 1403, you still walk away with 100 in your pocket compared to that Roush kit.....
