Default Now Im Rockin!!

So I got my system installed by Car Toys. Not that I will ever have them do anything for me agian. You would think that they know what they are talking about. Since they do this for a living!!! Its all about which store you go to here in Washington. Heres a short list of what they did wrong!!

Wrong.
1. Burned up first Sub woofer. (Let out the Secret Smoke)
2. Built custom box($250.00) that looks just like a $20 Wal-Mart box , except the Wal-Mart Box was fully carpeted.
3. Built Dual 10" box completly wrong. It had loose boards inside, why boards was inside I don't know. Speaker screws striped out, the box leaked air
and was not mounted like I told them to.
4. Sold me a amp that wasn't 1ohm stable when they told me it was
5. Wired my speakers for 1ohm which was wrong for that amp.
6. Took 48 hrs to do all of this wrong.

Right. Im not even going to say it was Car Toys that fixed it. Miike who works for Car Toys fixed it.
1. Pretty much the opposite of the above.

But in the long run I learned a lot. My advice to you is if you don't know a much about audio take someone who does or ask on the forum.
It will make your life a lot easier. Im going to try and upload a pic so we will see if it works.

Yeah I only have one word for it... AWSOME! The first time my buddy and I tried to tune the amp to a bass CD we had to get out of the car it was so bad!!!
When they finally got the system right at Car Toys it almost raddled cell phones off the wall!! LOL. The Shaker 500 sounds good I think. The only bad thing is you can't controle
the sub for the head unit. Thats why I got a amp with a remote gain controle that is mounted to the right of my right knee. I plan on replacing the head unit next. That and Dyno mat. If anyone needs any help with their system give a shoute. I check the forum almost daily. [sm=usa.gif]

Nice System, I had my Car Alarm installed at Car Toys... Went to three stores and talked to 3 techs before I was comfortable with them.

Yes, but I love the reflection and I did take her straight to the Car Wash after the photo shoot.

I talked to MTX today (work for their parent company Mitek) and they are building a Thunderform custom enclosure for the 2005 using a 12" woofer that will fit where the Shakers sub goes! I can't wait to get my hands on one!

Will it take up as much room??? One of the reasons I didn't opt for the 1000 was because the reviews said you couldn't fit a set of golf clubs in the trunk with it... can't be an AF Officer without my Sticks... but I would love to get a little more out of my sound system...
