What do you think the dealership will do?

What do you think the dealership will do?
So tonight I get off the expressway and when I get to the light at the end of the ramp, I see this white smoke coming from under my hood. It blows out for a minute or so then I pull away and think WTF?
So then I noticed almost right away, my AC stopped blowing cold and it's blowing the hot air in from outside.
I am taking it back to the dealership first thing in the am but here's the problem.
My 3yr warranty officially ended in the middle of May.
I am still under 36000 miles though, although only by about 100 miles.
So what do you think the dealership will say.

- Sorry about your luck, out of warranty, you pay to fix it.
- We will split the cost of repair since you are so close to being under warranty
- We value you as a customer and will cover the repairs since you are barely out of warranty

unless you get real lucky, I would say they don't do much.
I did have a truck about 2000 miles out of warranty (but under the 3 years). When they told me my alternator was out and it would be $300, I didn't take it to well, and passed my irritation on to the person telling me this. I stated in a somewhat pissed off (ok, firm but calmly, the whole more bees with honey thing) way that the truck didn't need a tune up until 100,000 miles, but Ford couldn't manage to get an alternator to last longer than 2 years or 38k???!
After staring at each other for a few seconds, he said let me go talk to the manager or whoever, came back and said how does $100 sound, I said fine.... afterall, they didn't have to budge at all.
Good luck
