I think some of you may know that roush makes these BEAUTIFUL seat covers, just absolutely STUNNING, for the S197 Mustangs.



I was interested in purchasing them, but unfortunately the covers that are listed for "2005-2007 Mustang Coupes" will not work on my 06 coupe as they have the optional side airbags.

However they have another product listed for "2007-2009 Mustang Coupes" that say they ONLY work with side airbags.

So does this mean I should just try and purchase the 07-09 covers and hope they work, or just stick with my factory interior? Thanks.

to me the seat textures don't even look the same as mine may be different seats

The V6 leather seats are different than the GT. The GT have more horizontal umm..... lack of a better word sections while ours just have a few really big strips

IIRC, airbag specific seats have a unique stitching that allows the airbag to deploy with minumal restriction.

If no luck at Roush, you could also call a company like Katzskin and inquire about the difference in construction.

The ones for the side airbags should work.

I think it was 07 when they started making side airbags standard on all Mustangs. They were standard on my 08.
