what is the HP limit of bottom end and drive train before they start going?

ok good.. same as my current car..
what is a good site for current 4.6L V8 engine?
thinking i start with 450wHP then in like yr or 2 rebuild engine.
Where can I get good info on all the parts available and which are best..
thinking first mods, headers, exhaust, supercharger, meth injection and tune
also heard about some delete plates.. from what I could gather its something by intake runners???
is bed plate and crank strong.. good for 700HP?

Check out the sponsor section for good places to shop, but for 450HP all you need is a good blower setup at around 10psi and a good tune

crank has been good for over 500+ RWHP but not sure if it would hold up to 700 HP

looking to make 600 to 700whp in the end when car is done...
what better to tune? sct or dsp? i have sct tuner for current car but everyone seems to like diablo sport for the car..

SCT will be fine. As for the engine check out lethalperformance.com, MMR, VT engines, or Haney motorsports. All of those companies can put together a great bottom end for you. If you could wait a little longer you could get a built 4.6L for a little more than what you would pay for the basic 4.6L. How much do you plan on spending on the base 4.6L?

Kenne Bell didn't blow up their 05 test car until 600whp. tuning is the key, one guy with bad tuning might have a failure at 450whp, another guy with good tuning may get 550whp. even though Kenne Bell didn't kill their test mule until 600whp they recommend staying at 525whp to have a margin of safety. basically how their stage two kit comes out of the box is what they recommend staying at until the motor is built.

page two of this PDF lists their power ratings for different components. I'm looking at getting their stage two kit that's good for up to 675whp. but after looking at their list there's a lot of things to replace before being able hit 675whp so I may be at the 525whp mark for a long time :) just to get past the 550whp mark you need exhaust, built motor, new clutch, and a new driveshaft. that's a pricey list of parts right there :)

kinda funny, Al Papitto who builds their blocks built the 1400whp twin turbo Ford GT motor. my buddy Mase tuned the turbo kit with that motor.
