Rear blackout panel with stripes? yes/no?

i think the panel will be fine because, to be honest the stripes are not easily seen since they almost match the color of the car. if you want i can show u a pic of mine with the stripes and blackout panel

If your talking about doing this to the black stang in the photo, which I assume you are, I might make a suggestion. (or two) = If your planning to keep the stripes you currently have, since they are matte black, I would have the blackout painted a GLOSS black, then before you install it, mask off around the rear medalion, mask the center of it, and paint the chrome part of the medallion Flat black. It will really set off your stripes and blackout. I did the reverse to mine, I painted my medallion Gloss black and my blackout Flat black. With my smoked out taillights, it really made the back Pop! My car is vapor silver, so it has a little different contrast than what you'll get with the black car. . a second option might be, removing the stripes from the back bumper and panel, and having them end either on top of the spoiler or just before the spoiler on the trunk lid. Which would give you a multi=flow of lines. Vertical and horizontal. If you went this route, I would paint the blackout Matte black to match your stripes and leave the medallion chrome or Gloss black.

Hey Nate It's not quite the same but I have the SHR panel on my car. You could just photoshop some stripes on the rear to get an idea of how it would look, I could get a few more pics if you needed. As for my opinion, I think it might look out of place on most cars to bust up the stripe, unless you do like the Ford factory stripes and don't rap them around the bumpers. For our color however I think you could get away with it since alloy and matte black are somewhat close.
