nice numbers, makes me wanna go dyno my car with the OBXs. did you have any clearance issues? Mine hit a bit from time to time, since I raised the engine a bit to let them clear the steering shaft, thats where they were rubbing at first...

I am using you as an argument that my cousin needs a new tune.

He has nearly the same mods, and only put down 321 in Dallas, TX.

Sorry if I missed it, but did you get a dyno tune or a mail order tune? If mail order, how does the cam behave on the street (stop and go traffic, that sort of thing)?

Got 2 mail order tunes. One from brenspeed and one from bama..

The brenspeed one came free since i bought the cams from them.

Brenspeed one gets better MPG, but throttle response and power are lacking to the bama tune.

Both are good on the street. With the bama tune when the car is first turned on in the morning it jumps to 2500 and stays there for a few seconds. Not sure why.

But i have been running the breenspeed tune, and throw the bama tune on at the track

Damn Shady you are really making me think about getting LT/Cam combo NOW instead of saving that to the s/c or turbo fund haha. 350 rwhp with a mail order tune... i wonder what a dynotune would do for you.

Oh and thanks to the guy that broke down what the nsr vsr cams meant. I learned something today!

I used to have that initial start up rev problem. I believe it is in the tune because when I switched to a Brenspeed tune it stopped revving. Its nice not to look like Im revving it up real loud right when I get into the car These cams are in my near future. If I can get that gain in HP I would be mid-low 12's.

Congrats on the numbers.

He has a 93 tune done by a friend that is a Shelby tuner. I don't know his name, but I don't think he has much experience tuning regular GTs.

I am trying to convince him to get a Bama tune or something similar.
