Understood. But if you're going to do with a drag radial, why not go with a tire size that ONLY comes in a drag radial. Go all out. Fill that big *** wheel well we have.

Also, I don't doubt a 40 series will have less deflection than a 45 series. How noticeable is the question.

Just how terrible is the handling gonna be with the 305/45?

It's only 3/10ths more sidewall than the stock 235/55.

Also i was going to get my tires and rims from different places to save money but ended up talking to mike at cruizinconcepts and he gave me a good price which ended up being cheaper than buying from other places. You need to remember about shipping and mounting and balancing, it will probably be cheaper getting them mounted and shipped from 1 place than paying for 2 places to ship then paying for munt/balance.

So far the best price I've found on the black bullitts I want is americanmuscle.. And they ofcourse don't sell the tires I need. Discounttiredirect has a good price on the tires. But don't have the rims.

Yay!

I would call cruizin and ask for mike and see what he can do and remember rims or tires might be more but overall it will probably be cheaper. I was in the same exact situation as you last week. After adding it up it was cheaper to get it from them. But if do order seperate i have a website that has 305/45 555r for 226 dollars shipped.
