Mine died the last week and it was not making that grrr grrrrrrr normal sound when a battery died, like somebody said here it was a very loud noise like something wrong with motor or starter but it was the battery.

Dealership told me under warrant but this is how it works at least in Mexico.

1st year Ford pays 100%
2nd year Ford pays 75% Customer 25%
3rd year Ford payes 25% Customer 75%

So with my 07 GT i payed 75% of another Motocrap! for 80 bucks with the 3 years of warranty too.

How does warrant works for you guys ?

In USA, Ford pays all the cost (battery and labor) if the original battery fails due to a defect within the 3yr/36,000mi warranty period. After that, the owner probably pays all the cost.

Got it, love it. Pretty pricey, but it has worked great so far. We'll see how long the Yellow Top lasts.

Motorcrap died after 2 years. I didn't bother with warranty because I figured they would bitch about the stereo system.

I wish the mods/users on other forums were as rational as the people here are. Nice to see a post that isn't an immediate bashfest and a moderator that values input from the users.

By the way, my battery lasted less than a year before it "died".

Hey brotha you are right I went to the dealer because mine lasted 2yrs 2mnths also, its funny because that seems to be the trend I even told the dealer that I have read on multipul forums about this issue and he denied that this is true, so at the point I ran over to my local auto shop and picked up a red top 75/35 best money i've spent I really dont like the way dealers will deny that their are issues, they suck. well here is the solution to your problem.
