Whine from power steering at low speeds
Well, for some reason my car whines at me a little when I backing out of or going into parking spots. Its brand new (less than 3000 miles on it), so I'm wondering what it could be and what I should check on the car. Oh and its not as easy as take it up to the dealership, I'm in Italy. We have a shop here on base but they are busy and are good for oil changes and stuff, not really major work. There are ford dealerships around here, but I don't speak the language so it could be hard to communicate.

Is it for sure the power steering and not like the A/C pump? I know that also makes noise.
Only thing you can really do is make sure the levels are good and inspect the belt. If those are both good there COULD be something wrong with it. All cars make different strange noises, I know the new edge mustangs make a TON of noise from the power steering.

haha, may have to use that one. Its not doing it as much right now, its a sometimes I hate you thing. I think my death threats are getting threw to it. I'll check all the fluid levels and stuff today. It still feels good at high speeds on the auto strada though!
