i went with the steeda ones mainly b/c they were the only ones out when i got them (about 4 years ago). i love them though, they fixed my problem with the long tube headers which were clunking on the passenger side every time i took a turn. also, they stiffen up the motor enough that the motor wont move much when the car starts. instead, it gives the car a bit of a vibration. not enough to be annoying, just enough to make the passenger of the car go, "wow, what the hell you got in this thing". just my .02. the GT500 ones may be just as good but i have no first hand experience with them.

I went through hell with strut mounts so here's my advice. If you're going to use OEM parts use these black stud mounts only. They are part number 8R33-18183-B. If you want to read about this check out this thread: http://forums.corral.net/forums/show....php?t=1083000

well, at that rate, i ordered my camber bolts from brenspeed for around $40 and they worked fine for me. i think the steeda ones are overkill

Here you Go, a link http://forums.corral.net/forums/show....php?t=1083000

should answer your questions. I have an 05 GT built in Apr 05 had the clunking sound when turning the car at low speed. Had dealer replace the strut mounts under the
warrenty no problems since have 22,000 miles on her.
I am replacing the front struts with Koni STR-T's have already gotten the GT500 mounts, CJ PonyParts has the best price $60 and some change. Hit them up on Wacky Wednesday and free shipping. By the way, these are the real deal from Ford comes in the Ford parts box.

Hope this helps!

this is the part number they talk about that will fix it "8R33-18183-B", this is not a gt500 strut mount. the gt500 strut mounts i can order off line anywhere pretty much. so im asking....will the gt500 mount fix the issue, those who have used them, did it fix the issue? or do i need to get the "8R33-18183-B" to fix it,meaning ill probably have to go to a dealership.

I ordered GT500 Strut Mounts from GEF Racing. The price is $55.37 with free shipping. I hope to receive them this week. I am going to install them along with Koni STR.T struts & shocks this coming spring.
