Default Suggestions for replacing the stripes on my car.

Howdy! Currently my car has dual silver stripes front to back, top to bottom down the center of the car, with a pinstripe on each outer edge. The stripes on the roof of the car are starting to peel up on the edges and it is buggin the hell out of me. I started thinking of what to do now, since I don't like plain looking. I love the redfire & silver scheme too much to not have some silver on it.

So I'm thinking of doing the Foose Tribute stripes from BSM. I'm thinking black stripes with a silver pinstripe outlining the black. This will enable me to get the honeycomb panel on the rear and eventually get a set of black wheels for the car too.

For an example of the stripe pattern, see this thread. It looks great, just in different colors.

https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...of-orange.html

One thing that is different though, in the referenced thread the pinstripe is 1/8", but BSM only sells 1/4" and bigger. Do yall think the 1/4" would be too thick and I should get the pinstripe somewhere else?

I also considered getting the fat super stripe on the hood and the Roush tribute side stripes in silver for my car, instead of the black Foose tribute, but I think I'm leaning more towards the Foose style.

Thanks for looking! Let me know what you all think.

Here are some crappy pics of the current look.

I like the black car's stripes with the pin right on the edge of the silver.

I'm about to go start removing my stripes from the car before it gets over 100 degrees today. Anyone know good sites for ordering quality 1/8" pinstriping?

Thanks!

my silver stripes are unique i believe:

they actually came with the car.. if they get messed up i'd take them off and put on some stripes like what you have now.. i like that style.

I'll consider painting them on when I know exactly what I want. Or if this adhesive from these vinyl stripes keeps pissing me off! I spent around 4 hours yesterday and all that I accomplished was removing the 2 main stripes and pinstripes from the roof of the car, along with the glue from 1 pinstripe and about 2 inches of glue from one main stripe. The rest of the adhesive is there and it's raining so I can't continue on it. Really aggravating so I bought some more types of adhesive remover to try out.
