Default emergency radio install question

How in the sam hell does the antenna wire get disconnected from the factory radio (non-shaker)? I pull like hell and it ain't coming out. I can see there's a torx(sp) screw next to the antenna connector & I'd assume I have to take that out - but I'm finding it REAL difficult to get a screw driver to that spot. The radio won't pull out far enough to allow access.

Got it...moving the radio around, the connector just fell out. :-)

I was gonna say... its just a normal connector, glad you got it. I think you need a extension to make it work on aftermarket radios though. I think it was small female side and a larger male side? It was a while ago that I installed my raido though. Good luck!

Pull it straight out instead of at an angle, maybe?

Yep. Score another trip (4th) today to the parts store. Surprised I didn't read about this one ahead of time.

Oh well - better to have a store 10 minutes away than to have to mail order something.
