'07 GT 5-speed muffler question

I've seen on summit racing's website a couple different items designed to reduce exhaust noise. I think they are call vortech inserts. they are supposed to deflect sound and make it quieter but I think they are designed for cars with open pipes/headers so I don't know if it would work for cars that already have mufflers, but you could always try.

Serious answer. You can install some midpipe muffler while keeping your stock mufflers. That should quiet it down a lot.
