Thanks guys. The camaro was the whle point of this, and possibly to catch a few vettes off guard, obviously not the big boys but a few of the lower end vettes. Like I said, the sleeper neesd a few undercarraige aprts and a clutch kit next spring and I think I can bring those numbers down a little more. Afraid to really romp on it at the moment with the stock drive line.

OP, you can run 12.0 for sure if drive it right with some DR's.

Good runs.
Bah! I have no spoiler! No one should have a stock exhaust.

Man that is awesome. I am assuming you are running gears and a few nolts ons to pull that time as well as some DR's and a little suspension work. It's fun to see the drop jaw look on peoples faces at the trac kwhen your S197 GT runs anything below a high 13. I met a guy while up at Brenspeed who runs mid-low twelves N/A running a 4.30 gear with delete plates, Brenspeed tune, CAI, some exhaust work, and I think LCA's.

I popsted from my cell phone didn't realize it didn't put in my sig. (all my mods are there) My next mod is a TCI super street fighter 4000 stall and different tires. Don't have any suspension work. Being a girl also gets the comments.

Nice setup. 4000 stall? Seems a little steep for a street car. Then again what do I know about automatics other than what I hear?

Hey - two of the all time best at the gig - Shirley Mudowney and Ashley Force. and they didn't have to become "GoDaddy" girls to extend their careers. LOL!!! I love seeing women coming to the track and doing more than , "standing by their man.".

Keep digging away. 12.76 from a stock auto trans is AWESOME!!! I am looking SOOOOOO forward getting the clutch updated to a Centerforce DF ths fall or next spring so I'm not as worring so much about leaving it on the track in dust at the 1000 foot mark. THen I can put some nice sticky tires and LCA's on the car and get some good solid 60 ft times.

Enjoy.

Yeah, my 60' isn't that great. I think my best is a 1.89 and that was only once. So, I need to do some suspension mods and some better tires. I have a set MT drags but I need to get 15" rims for them.
