off hand anyone know the PSI of the spare. checked mine the other day and it was 55 PSI. seems a bit high.

Most spares are 50-65 Psi...they are very skinny skinny so they require a higher PSI to maintain their shape under the weight of a car.

wish I had a spare

stupid inflato-TPMS device in my trunk...I gotta find a nice 17/18" spare. No way in hell I'm using the inflato thingy

yeah, the Shelby GT doesn't have a spare either.

No probs with the TPMS... yet! *knocks on wood!*

did you know if you use the Inflato thingy, that it ruins the TPMS in that tire?

so a flat will cost you at least $100 just to replace that TPMS sensor alone


a spare tire doesn't weigh that much

a spare tire doesn't weigh that much
it doesn't always ruin them, but there is a chance that it will. The longer you leave it in there the more chance of it going kaput.
