Default steering wheel shakes

My 07 gt only has 7000kms I only take it out about twice a month my steering wheel shakes bad for about 10 miles then it gets better but it still shakes a bit even after a long drive it has pirrellis on it I dont think its the wheel balance since it gets better but never goes away all together the tires must get a flat spot what could the dealer do? any suggestions

yeah sounds like the tires are flat spotting. the pirellis are hard as rocks. this is good for tire life, but not so good for anything else. I dont think the dealer can do much of anything if you only drive once every two weeks. if you want to fix it, drive her more often!

have them road force all 4 wheels/tires and check the balance....nothing you can do about the initial shake, but that should help once you've driven the car a few miles

my Nitto tires do that too. Roadforce after a warm up drive....

my car sits all week, and for the first few miles she shakes, then goes away

If you have stock wheels, then I suspect it's a balance issue and possibly amplified by the flat-spotting (which goes away as the tire warms up). If the wheels are aftermarket, you may want to check the studs for the lock ring that was installed at the factory but no longer needed. They'll prevent aftermarket wheels from matting flat on the hub.

Like 05 Mustang suggested, demand they RoadForce balance the tires. It'll find flaws that standard spin balancing won't.
