Whistling from A/C

Whistling from A/C
Searched but couldn't find anything.
While driving down the highway, I could hear a very faint whistle - but couldn't tell where it was coming from. Initial I thought it was just the wind hitting the antenna (wishful thinking, huh). After some trial and error, I was able to locate that it has something to do with the air conditioning and the recirculation.
With the A/C and heater on - I do not get the whistling noise. As soon as I hit the 'recirculate' it begins to whistle. It's so bad, that I hate using it unless I have the radio on.
Surely I'm not the only one with this problem...? If anyone can answer me this - is this covered under warranty? I'm planning to take it in for a few TSB and the air bag recall, so I'd like to add this to the list.
Thanks for reading and any incite would be helpful.

To answer your question, all the vents are open. No matter which vents are closed, opened, whether none are open - as soon as I turn off recirculate, the whistle stops.

Does it happen while parked? If so, I would pop the hood and see if you can locate the sound. It might give folks a better idea of where to start.
I know there's a TSB for the FEAD Idler pulley, but that is for cold start situations (see attached txt file; sorry it's not PDF; I guess you can't upload a single page PDF because it's too big...?) In any case, I have this particular problem, but it will ONLY happen in the winter time, and ONLY on startup on a cold morning, so...I doubt it is the same problem
