Default Mustang Bra

Is anyone currently using a bra on their Mustangs? While I'm not a big fan of them, I want to pick one up for a 2500 mile trip I'll be making in about 2 weeks. I'm not interested in the clear 3M ones...

I'm thinking about getting the top one (from Moss Mustangs) as it's relatively inexpensive ($48) and I don't have to worry about it fitting the California Special front bumper.

I'm basically trying to protect the front of the hood from getting chipped up during the trip. Will probably take it off when I get back to TX and use it only for road trips.

I saw one just the other day. Didn't look bad, but it's not my thing on thse cars. I would definately consider getting one if going cross-country though.

I too saw one on a Mustang the other day and it didn't look too bad. I wouldn't leave it on but for long trips I think it's a great idea!

that's the one I was going to order before I discovered the clear bra....already have it on the new ride; front bumper, fenders, & hood.

Saying the clear bra, do you just mean the 3M tape stuff? My friends dad has it on his Competition Orange 04 GT and it just doesn't look right... you can really see it stick out. That's the only car I've really ever seen it with so that's why I'm not too thrilled with the idea.

If I get the one shown above, it's strictly going to be for road trips... my hood has already taken a bit of a beating, but I'd rather limit the damage to what it already has.

Only women wear bras...

Try the spray on stuff if you are just doing on drive and dont need it after... it washes off

I have, pretty much the same car as you do. The black bra thing, IMO, is hideous and a bad idea. I have a clear bra, yes 3M on all of my vehicles, and SWEAR BY THE 3M BRA. Here are a few pics on my car with the clear bra installed, you'd never know it's there. Nobody ever knows it's installed unless I tell them.
I have the clear bra installed on:
2004 Infinity G35
2001 Nissan Frontier
2004 Suzuki GSXR-1000
2008 Mustang GT, multiple custom install
