Sounds good, I though about a setup like that on mine, but seems to docile at low revs but it's definitely clean and deep sounding.

Trumpeting is minimal, though I have 4.10's, so I'm sure I'm through the trumpeting range faster than 3.31s. Honestly, it's nothing compared to the o/r H with stock mufflers. Those things would sound like a howling cat for a long time during acceleration...

Speaking of stock mufflers, the rasp was TERRIBLE. Magnaflows reduced my throttle-driven and ambient rasp from the H-pipe by about 80%...I'm on cloud 9! Went from "BB's in a coffee can" to thunder and lightning, baby!

Again, with 4.10's I'm at 2500 rpms in 5th going 75mph. The "drone" is almost nonexistent...as in you could hold an office-volume conversation above the noise at those RPMs. When you're on the throttle, it sounds like your car is running...music to my ears. If you're light enough on the throttle, it's impossible to hear with the windows down.

This setup is very tame under light throttle, but press that right pedal in, and it roars to life. Might not satisfy those of you never-you-mind-i'm-just-going-for-open-header-volume folks who don't have to worry about Johnny Law or unappreciative neighbors who know how to lodge a formal complaint. I didn't change my exhaust to **** off the world, I wanted something that sounded deep, bass-y, and mean, ear-splittingly loud at WOT, with a measure of volume control. Mission accomplished!

I'm with you. Loudness is not goodness. Glad you're happy with the setup...for now ;-)
